Merge Power-Curve & Material Planner
Plan duplicate materials, merge-level damage and HP multipliers, roster capacity, and expected rolls.
Additional duplicates: 7 · Expected rolls: 70.0
Use this planner when a duplicate budget needs to become a concrete merge target. It shows the base-unit tree, net duplicates beyond the starting unit, and the illustrative damage and HP multipliers used by the wiki.
Formula and assumptions
For branching factor b and target level L, total base units are b^(L - 1) and additional units are that total minus one. Binary merging is the default; the tri-merge toggle is available for a player-entered scenario. The damage curve is 1 + 0.20(L - 1) + 0.05(L - 1)^2, while the HP curve is 1 + 0.10(L - 1) + 0.03(L - 1)^2.
The Level 2 and Level 3 anchors come from the independent community merge guide. Higher values are a transparent extrapolation, not a hidden game constant. Roster warnings compare total units against the capacity you enter.
Expected rolls
Supplying a target rarity probability converts additional copies into expected rolls using duplicates / p. A zero probability intentionally reports an unknown expectation rather than dividing by zero. This output is a mean, not a guarantee or a 95% completion deadline.
